About Love & Care For All
What we do at “Love And Care For All-Okwagala N’Okufaayo Family”

LACFA is a rehabilitation home for former street children, most of our children come straight from the streets of Masaka and some of them are just lost or missing. In the US most of the homeless are adults, in Uganda and East Africa the homeless are children. We really try to be like a family not an organization, we have Mamas and Uncles and a Daddy. It is a rather unconventional family; it is an adventure. Some of the children that we started with are young men and young ladies now.

We work with the Police and Child Protective Services we get children from bad situations; they have been abused or tortured. A lot of the children we get are full of fear and hurt emotionally, physically, or psychologically. Every one of them is different and they all have a different story.

Many children we get from the streets have bad habits, lying, stealing, fighting, glue (chemicals), etc. They have been doing anything that they have to in order to survive. We start working on those things and when they are ready, we put them in school. It is all a process; we believe that every child that comes to us has a call on their lives and we want to turn what the enemy intended for evil in their young lives into good to glorify the name of our LORD. Some of the children that we have don’t know where they came from, they were abandoned so young that they just don’t know- those children will be with us until they can take care of themselves, someone adopts them, or someone wants to foster them.

The children that come from the streets, we try to find out where they come from and return them to their families when it is safe and possible. Since we have been an organization, we have restored over 245 children back to their families. We have restored some, that the families have already mourned for them because they thought that they were dead.

We have 169 children currently. The LORD blessed us with a school (Zion Christian Nursery and Primary School). We have 116 of our children from LACFA in the school and another 136 from the surrounding area. We have 13 accredited teachers.

We are all a team whether we are on the ground or sowing prayers or financially, to GOD be the Glory. HE makes the impossible possible and qualifies the called.
